Pitch explainers, comparisons, food-history pieces, thoughtful myth checks and occasion-based guides. Strong ideas have a defined reader, a clear question and a distinct point that can be explored without relying on unsupported claims or specialist access.

What to include

Tell us the proposed subject, its central idea, why it suits Coastal Food Review and how you would handle it. Note any relevant experience or sources you expect to draw on, without overstating what they establish. Please send a pitch rather than a finished article unless we have agreed otherwise.
